ARTIST STATEMENT:

"I am heavily influenced by history as well as my environment when it comes to making my work. I have always been interested in the complexity and fragility of perspective and how it dictates our artistic expression. Most of my work highlights the balance beauty and destruction in our surroundings. I recently have been exploring form and texture in my newest series of Jomon Pots, which are inspired by the history and functionality of ceramics."
